# How do I get started as a new customer?


To get started with Right Person, you first need to create an account. This only takes a couple of minutes, and you can start sending your first background checks right away.

## How to create an account

### Go to the registration page
Visit rightperson.com and click **Get started**.

### Fill out the form
You will be asked to provide:
* Email address  
* First name and last name  
* Country (choose from the dropdown)  
* Select your organization: search by name or organization number

### Choose whether to receive marketing
You can tick the box if you would like to receive relevant information and updates from Right Person. This is optional.

### Confirm your registration
Click **Create account**.  
You will be asked to accept the Terms of Use, the Data Processing Agreement (DPA), and the Privacy Policy.  
You will then receive a confirmation email.

## Next steps after registration

* Once your account is created, you can log in directly via rightperson.com.  
* You can invite other users in your organization to the team account.  
* You are now ready to order your first background check.

## Tips

* Use a work email address so your access is correctly linked to your organization.  
* Does your organization already have an account? Ask an administrator to add you instead of registering a new account.
