How to build your own check?
What is "Build your own check"?
With Build your own check, you put together a customised check package tailored to the role you are hiring for.
How it works
You will find the feature in the portal before starting an order. This is the starting point for all new background checks.
You have two options:
- Choose a standard package: Basic (195 credits), Extended (390 credits) or Comprehensive (485 credits)
- Build your own check: to put together the package yourself
Build your own check
- In the Check builder, you choose freely from check types organised into the categories Identity, Finance, Reputation, Work Experience and Education.
- Click "Add" to add a check
- The summary on the right shows your selected checks and total number of credits
- Identity verification is mandatory and always included
Discounts
→ 5 or more checks → 10% discount
→ 8 or more checks → 15% discount
- Name your package and save
You must give the package a name in the "Check name" field before you can save. Then click "Save my package".
The package will now appear under your organisation's own section at the bottom of the home page, ready to use.
- Start the order
Click "Select" on your package to proceed to the order flow.
Note: For some customers, a custom package must be approved by Right Person before it can be used. This is because we need to set prices and terms for the package. You will be notified when the package is ready. Standard packages can always be used immediately.

Which check types can I choose from?
Category | Check type |
|---|---|
Identity | Identity verification, Country affiliation, Historic name check |
Finance | Credit check, Business interests |
Reputation | Open source search, Specific source search |
Work Experience | Employment verification |
Education | Education verification |
What happens after I have selected a package?
You will be taken to the order flow. See How do I order a check? for the next steps.
