Simployer integration
This guide explains how to connect a customer's Simployer account to RightPerson.
Once the integration is set up, creating a new employee in Simployer will automatically start a background check in RightPerson. The check status and a link to the final report will then be added to the employee's profile in Simployer.
The setup has two parts:
- Part A, RightPerson: completed by a RightPerson admin
- Part B, Simployer: completed by the customer in their Simployer account
Part A: RightPerson side
Contact RightPerson Support to enable the integration.
Once the integration is enabled, Support will provide you with:
- Account ID
- Simployer Webhook Secret
You will need both values when configuring the integration in Simployer.
Part B: Simployer side
Step 1: Open Integrations in Simployer
- Log in to Simployer.
- Go to Integrations in Simployer: Integrations
- Select Add a new webhook.
Step 2: Configure the webhook
You will see an Add webhook form. Enter the following information:

API Key | Paste the Simployer Webhook Secret provided by RightPerson Support |

Header value | Paste the Account ID provided by RightPerson Support |
Click Save to save the webhook.
Step 3: Set up custom fields for RightPerson
To display the background check status and the final report link in Simployer, create two custom fields.
- In Simployer, go to Settings → Custom fields
- Click + New field.
- Create a field for the background check status, for example
RightPerson Status. - Create another field for the report link, for example
RightPerson Report URL.
These fields will be updated automatically by RightPerson and displayed on the employee's profile in Simployer.
Integration complete
The Simployer integration is now set up and ready to use.
When a new employee is created in Simployer, a background check will be automatically started in RightPerson. The RightPerson Status and RightPerson Report URL fields will be updated with the latest check information.
